Your Kids Are Losers (1994)
This zine comprises joke material originally written by my sister and I way back in 1994. I still have the original artwork for it and so in September 2016 I adapted it into a 16 page zine format, where previously it had only existed as loose pages (with no title – so the title and cover illustration you see here are something I did for the 2016 edition). It takes the form of handwritten and typed correspondence between school teachers and various feckless parents. Laughs aplenty, even seeing as it was written by a couple of teenagers over 20 years ago!
Xtra Cheez (2015)
This 28-page zine is a compilation of material from 2004 to 2015, comprising many unreleased strips! Let's see, there's 'Death Row Boogie', 'Nobody Likes Hip-Hop' and 'Boozy Doctrine' (from Wellington anthology
Bristle Annual #2), a few instalments of 'Geeks In Space', a couple of contributions from
Steve Carter and Antoinette Rydyr (SCAR) and a strip co-authored with Antoinette called 'Puppet Of The Coo Clucks Clan' in which we resurrected an old SCAR character, Spring-Heeled Jackson. Oh, and there's a ten-page excerpt of my 2012 autobiographical uni comic
Constantinople, which appeared in the first
Bristle Annual!
I Was Ere 79 (2016)
What it says on the cover! 24 pages of actual graffiti from the ruins of the Italian town of Pompeii, which was destroyed by volcanic eruption in the year 79. Obviously, it was translated from Latin into English. See how bawdy those ancient Romans were!
Dreary Man-Punching (2016)
In full EYE_STRAINING COLOUR, this zine is eight full pages of panels proudly cut out from other comics, with bargain-basement dialogue pasted on. It is basically a parody of the mindless fighting scenes that occupy so many comics.
13 Indispensable Japanese Words (2016)
This hand-lettered A6 zine features exactly what the title says; 13 unusual Japanese words written by brush, and their translations. Feel free to use them!
26 Words You Never Knew (2016)
Another zine to help you increase your vocabulary, this zine features 26 obscure and not-so-obscure words, hand-lettered and written in watercolour brush. Impress those around you with your febriferous loquatiousness.
